Human Resources Assistant Summary
An HR Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to other HR professionals by documenting staff changes, performance reports, and communications. This position gives you the opportunity to break into HR or broaden your skill set by doing special projects and the administration of benefits, leaves of absence, onboarding, and recruiting support.
Human Resources Assistant Responsibilities Include:
- Aid in the recruiting process by posting jobs and scheduling interviews
- Process all HR-related paperwork i.e. address changes, tax information, benefits, processing forms
- Provide administrative support including answering incoming calls, greeting visitors, and providing written and verbal employment verification
- Manage the calendar of HR leadership and assist with ad hoc HR projects
