Q: What’s one thing most people don’t know about you?
A: I had a boa constrictor as a pet. Her name was ‘Bad Girl’ I loved the snake, but hated feeding time. I couldn’t feed her myself or watch her eat.
Q: When you were younger, what did you want to be when you grew up?
A: A Marketing Sociologist, I wanted to be a part of creating commercials
Q: What kind of activities do you like to do with your friends or family?
A: I love being around my family and friends. I love to entertain, play cards, and my favorite thing to do is…..laugh LOL. Since COVID and being aware of social distance, I have started fishing this summer (I’m not a fan of baiting, though). I mainly enjoy the scenery, mountain fresh air, Not Your Fathers Rootbeer, and socializing.
Q: What do you find most rewarding about your job?
A: Finding candidates the right jobs and finding clients great candidates. I like to find candidate’s jobs that are life-changing, whether it be a candidate having a hard time and they need a temporary job to just make ends meet or finding a candidate their ideal career, pay, and location. With clients, I like to help make their jobs easier and help them find their ideal candidate. I really get a sense of satisfaction from both.
Q: What is your proudest moment at Stivers?
A: Finding a homeless man a job. He had an IT Degree, advanced test scores, plus great references. I placed him in an IT job. The job paid very well and the last time I checked he had been there for over five years. I guess I was proud, but more so fulfilled.
